Re:Work Live image collection of events

In partnership with the Standard Life Centre for the Future of Retirement and the Careers can change campaign, Re:Work Live is a platform that empowers people in midlife to navigate career transitions and confidently design their next chapter.

This is more than just exposure. It's an opportunity to inspire, motivate and create meaningful, lasting change.

Get in touch at iam@stillcurious.co and let's power positive change, together.

WHY DOES IT MATTER?

Careers have fundamentally changed. They're no longer linear pathways, and people are working for longer than ever before.

Longer working lives bring opportunity, but also raise complex questions around health and wellbeing, financial resilience, skills relevance and work-life balance. These shifts highlight the importance of taking a more joined-up approach to how people are supported across multiple life and career stages.

WHAT DO WE DO?

We supported Careers can change to launch an event that responds directly to these challenges. Bringing together cross-sector expertise in adult careers guidance and research, we equip people with clear, practical advice and increased access to trusted support.

Returning for 2026, we'll be continuing to use inspiration, tools, coaching and networking, to challenge myths around career change. We'll raise awareness of evolving work patterns, showcase pathways such as internal mobility and entrepreneurship and empower individuals to take action. We look forward to helping thousands more people invest in their skills, explore options and plan how and when they want to work in the future.

  • Repeat the event! The content and workshops were so valuable I’d love to attend again. It helped me believe in myself - the sessions really helped me reflect on my next steps.

  • It's rare that I come away from an event impressed with how well it has been organised but Re:Work was great. Enabling many organisations to come together in one space which rarely happens. Having the chance to meet with leaders of organisations doing similar work is vital as we can all learn from each other
