RE:WORK LIVE
Careers have fundamentally changed. They're no longer linear pathways, and people are working for longer than ever before.
Longer working lives bring opportunity, but also raise complex questions around health and wellbeing, financial resilience, skills relevance and work–life balance. These shifts highlight the importance of taking a more joined-up approach to how people are supported across multiple life and career stages.
There was a need to respond to this challenge by bringing together cross-sector expertise in adult careers guidance and research, to equip people with clear, practical guidance and increase access to trusted support.
Working with The Standard Life Centre for the Future of Retirement, in collaboration with the founding partners of the Careers can change campaign, we set about designing an activation that would help people to design their next chapter.
To create the activation, we developed and delivered a full launch campaign and live event designed to educate, inspire confidence, challenge barriers and turn uncertainty into informed action.
Key elements included:
Brand and communications foundation - Defined a clear, recognisable name and brand with confident messaging to normalise career change and position Re:Work Live as a trusted space for exploration and action.
Multi-channel campaign delivery - Planned and executed an integrated communications strategy across website, social media (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube), CRM, digital advertising (Meta, LinkedIn, Google, YouTube) and tactical amplifiers.
Partner and exhibitor strategy - Conducted research, competitor analysis and partner consultations to build a priority-approved exhibitor list, supported by a dedicated B2B sales deck, personalised outreach and partner management.
Event design and production - Designed and delivered a live experience with a virtual element including masterclasses, workshops, seminars and one-to-one sessions, supported by a comprehensive registration, ticketing and visitor flow strategy.
Operational delivery - Managed suppliers, venue liaison, tech stack setup, event manuals, floor plans and exhibitor logistics, with on-site support teams, room producers and post-event feedback systems in place.
The event demonstrated a clear market need for practical, inclusive career change support - moving beyond inspiration to real tools, advice and connections.
Delivered a venue-at-capacity launch event with a campaign reach of 700,000.
Hosted 25+ masterclasses, seminars, workshops and one-to-one sessions across four stages.
Over 90% of attendees said they would recommend the event to family and friends.
Strategically connected with over 200 tactical targets including corporate, event listings, individuals, networks, outplacements and public sector.
Established a strong brand foundation, an engaged audience and a proven format - positioning it for future growth as a leading voice in career change, job mobility and the evolving world of work.
